ReadyIndy has a great collaborative relationship with HHOOT - Homeless Helpers ministry. It's located near Indy's downtown, and gives us access not only for a meeting place and computers on the internet for training, but importantly it gives us access to great ministry workers with first-hand compassion experience and sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ. So thank you, Don & Gene and the rest of the staff and volunteers at HHOOT!
Stay tuned... we'll show some more pix from the center, and we'll talk about the function of an Emergency Operations Center, whether here at HHOOT, or wherever we set up shop during an emergency.
