About: Care, Serving, Justice, Mercy -- We want to be like Jesus. How well are we doing at that? (Why a CARE hub?)

Here in Indianapolis, we have a great many compassion-based ministries. How might we accomplish more together than separately? This wiki-page is at least a connecting point for that conversation, perhaps even leading us toward building a 'Deacons Table' for easier, more effective collaboration.

ReadyIndy = Emergency-readiness leaders are working collaboratively as an Indianapolis chapter of the national Christian Emergency Network... locally called @ReadyIndy. Here's their ReadyIndy Care-Mgmt page, as they begin sifting through the issues & solutions.
UniteIndy -- a new collaboration of churches toward compassion/poverty needs & solutions.
UniteForChange -- EpiCenter, Urban UnConference, and other great activities in Indy.
@Meet_The_Need web functionality is available to support churches/ministries as they handle care/case-mgmt.
Our CCDA Affiliates here among Indianapolis ministries may well be the core of compassion-based ministries in the city. Eg Wesleyan churches.
Our various 'Prison-related Ministries' are also now meeting together re their common mission.
