LOVE, LIFT ME
I was downtown, face down, flat on the pavement, clutching my chest because my heart was breaking, took in a breath and my bones started shaking, in my mind I was contemplating just dying right here and handing my life over to satan, and then Love Lifted me.
My forehead laid flat, like an altar on the floor, but in that moment I saw things, that I have never seen before.
Into the skies through Ezekiel’s eyes enter into the valley, where the bones are dry. A lilly pushes his roots thru the soils of sin, he points and unleashes all four winds and an army of suffocating souls stand up and start to breath again, and Love Lifted me.
An eagle mounts and we start to fly, don’t look back, kiss that place goodbye. Now my ear can hear a weeping prophets cry, “ our children are being bombarded and our enemy is disguised, sex on tv, girls gone wild, guys on guys!” My heart wrapped in sackcloth I awaited a reply and then, Love, Lifted me.
Into the days of Moses and Pharaoh, so this is a peculiar type of yoke. Like Emancipation Proclamation days, but this is a whole new generation of slaves. Money,,,,,,,,cash,,,,,,,,,cars,,,,,,,,clothes, satan had us bound by our own egos. People pay money to get a new nose, kids dying in the street over company logos, everyone afraid they’re next to go broke, NO! NO! NO!!!!!!, “ Let my people go” and, Love, Lifted me.
Now Love is patient, and Love was kind, Love let me leave that place behind. This atmosphere was not like the first, not a maternity ward, a place of birth. There was an electric sky, and lightning dispersed, a thunderous voice “ I held you first, before your feet touched the soil of the earth, now go, and Love, Lift me, Love, Lift me, Love, Lift Me
