'Indy Timeline 2009 Planning' (was to be the topic)
Purpose: Citywide interactive participation & conclusions...
to accelerate 2009's collaborative Great Commission action.
- Pre-meeting... $15 RSVP required for this one. Today is our 4th annual planning luncheon... Proceeds go to benefit the Unleavened Bread Cafe urban ministry... Space is limited to the first 50 people. The cafe offers free wifi -- so bring your laptop if you like. We'll be compiling information during the course of the meeting (and doing some e-collaborative training as well.) See below.

- This meeting has been crowded in the past -- let's limit to 50 people so they can bring laptops or whatever. And then webcast it for others... perhaps other locations such as... Northside New Era, Crossroads Bible College, TheROCC, and other strategic points around I-465.
- Maybe do MULTI-SITES... to help facilitate Neighborhood Teams... perhaps with help from Granger or Chicago churches as control-centers or HowTo resources. Sites: Urban cafe, Lakeview west, Central Carmel, CBC Eastside, JonathanByrd Southside.
- Tech Considerations... IndyChristianGeeks help? Multiple projectors & screens. Internet broadband... real broad... preferably 2 projectors/screens at each location, to accommodate local & citywide screens.
- Get announcements out way early. And encourage Indy Timeline usage, as churches plan their 2009 calendar.
- We'll have a Resources table at each location, and even invite people to BRING flyers, brochures, etc.
- Remember... Communications need to be 'quick to LISTEN' and slow to speak. So let's model that. Letting people bring their 2009-related materials could be one way of 'listening'. (What if we do something like Paul Backer did... provide a fellowship WALL... say Jan, Feb, Mar, etc... sections... bring/post your event flyers???
- Obtain announcements in advance... including video announcements.
- Dress Rehearsal & Prayer... 12/11 ???
- Objectives: Hopeful Outcomes we'll evaluate at the end...
